Experiences from Clients
Missy has been fantastic to work with as part of our MedStar Health Institute for Quality and Safety (MIQS) Nursing Home COVID-19 Action Network training center team. Our MIQS training center team joined a nationwide training program to help keep COVID-19 from spreading in nursing homes and prepare and equip staff so that they can better protect residents and themselves. The MIQS training center recruited 110 nursing homes across seven states. Missy was a vital part of the team that meets with nursing homes each week to educate nursing home staff around COVID-19 prevention, mitigation, and infection prevention for residents, staff, and visitors. During the weekly sessions, she was a calm, knowledgeable, and reliable voice to reassure nursing home leaders of best practices and creative ideas. Often time we had to shift focus as the pandemic evolved, and Missy was flexible in going with the current and keeping updated on all the latest and greatest practices to combating COVID-19 and infection prevention during a crisis.

Missy was a life saver for our organization...we were in the midst of a very uncertain time and we needed a resource to guide us through our return to play in a way that would enable us to resume our season, which was of paramount importance to our organization. Missy was a tremendous resource....she was unquestionably knowledgeable but, just as important, she was incredibly responsive and practical, and we were able to navigate through any and all issues that arose, which was only possible due to Missy’s knowledge and guidance. The Nashville Predators / Bridgestone Arena family fully intends to enlist Missy’s services in the future - she was incredible!

Missy Travis with IP&C was very informative with her Bootcamp on Environmental Rounds today. I fully enjoyed it ! We received a lot of tools as well to use and she answered our questions. I would greatly recommend it to others. IP is so broad - there is always more to learn and opportunity to fine tune.
